If you are at Increased risk of Coronavirus with mild symptoms-
Please attend a Coronavirus Testing Clinic at Flinders Medical Centre or South Coast District
If you are at Increased Risk of Coronavirus with severe symptoms such as Shortness of
Please attend Noarlunga or Flinders Medical Centre Emergency Departments
If you are not at Increased risk of Coronavirus but you have symptoms of Fever or Cold or
Flu like symptoms-
Ring Wellbeing McLaren Vale on 8323 7533 and advise our staff when making an appointment. You will be asked to wait in your car. Ring when you arrive and you will be collected from your car and escorted to a specially set up isolation room to see your doctor. We will arrange for your account to be settled by phone after your consult.
If you are not at Risk of Coronavirus and have no fever and no cold or flu like symptoms-
You may be suitable for a telephone consult- please ask our staff when making an appointment. If you do come in for an appointment consider waiting in your car. Ring when you arrive and someone will come and collect you when your doctor is ready for your appointment. On entering Wellbeing McLaren Vale you will be offered a mask. Please put it on until you leave the surgery. You can then take it home and reuse it.
There are still numerous situations where face-to-face appointments and clinical examination are crucial to providing the best care.
