COVID-19 Face mask and Check in Required

It is a requirement that you wear a surgical or N95 mask to attend the surgery.

 

Vaccination Requirements

You are not required to be vaccinated against COVID to attend the surgery.

 

Symptoms of an Infectious Illness

If you have any symptoms of an infectious illness (cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, cold or flu like symptoms, vomiting or diarrhoea) we can arrange to either do a telephone consult or face to face consult in our isolation room. This room has a separate entrance and is equipped with a Hepa Filter and CO2 monitor to keep you and our staff safe. You will be seen by a doctor in full personal protective equipment. We are also able to do a COVID PCR test for you if this is indicated by your symptoms.

 

Diagnosed with COVID- 19 – What Happens Now?

If you have undertaken a Rapid Antigen Test and returned a positive result you do not need to get a swab for a PCR test. However, you do need to notify SA Health. Please upload your result using this link or by ringing 1800 253 787.

SA Health will contact you via SMS as soon as the team are notified about your result.

If you are concerned about your wellbeing, we are available to consult with you via telephone or face to face in our isolation room.
