We have kept fees stable and have not had a fee increase since 1st of February 2025.

As of 1 August 2026, Wellbeing McLaren Vale, will be making an adjustment to our fees.

​

This change is necessary as Medicare rebates have not kept pace with the true cost of delivering high-quality medical care.

​

Over time, rebates have been under-indexed or frozen, while the costs of running a general practice—including wages, medical supplies, and everyday operating expenses—have continued to rise in line with inflation.

​

Because of this gap, Medicare rebates now cover a smaller proportion of the cost of providing care, which means a modest increase in out-of-pocket fees is required to help us continue offering safe, accessible, and comprehensive care to our patients.

We understand that changes like this can be difficult, and we remain committed to supporting our patients and providing care that is both compassionate and of high quality.

We will continue to bulk bill

• Children aged 10 and under

• Veteran Affairs Gold Card and eligible White Card holders.

• Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management plans.

​

Valid Health Care Cards/ Pension Cards and are offered a discount.

​

Out of pocket fees apply for treatment room/ nurse procedures and dressings – no rebates are applicable.

Cancellation Fees

A $50 - $100 fee will be charged for failure to attend or cancelling an appointment with less than 2 hours’ notice. This fee must be paid before you are able to book again.
